Secure Browser™ - a utility that lets administrators manage URL's that can be visited.

Tropical Software today announced the release Secure Browser™ for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP. Secure Browser™ allows the administrator to control where the user visits on the internet. With a customizable list, this makes Secure Browser perfect for web shows and/or an environment where user traffic needs to be controlled.

Simple And Useful
Secure Browser™ is based on the idea that a user should not have access to anywhere on the internet. Using Secure Browser™, one can make a list of allowed web sites using keywords or complete URLs. This option of using keywords could allow a business to limit the user's viewing experience to only its corporate website. A customizable password is necessary to exit the program, thus protecting a kiosk or workstation from potentially harmful use. A password is also necessary for entry into Secure Browser™ setting's screen.

Secure Browser™ is the perfect way to control how a user surfs the internet. Say you want to provide internet surfing of just the company's web site at a web show. Or say you want a robust, easy to use browser that is the only program allowed to run, like an internet search machine for a library, - with a few quick setup options your machine is ready to go.

One does not need to be a wizard with their PC in order to use Secure Browser™. Installation is straightforward and easy. The interface to the program is extremely intuitive - you will not have to go searching through help files every time you want to make change to the settings.
