Private Encryptor SDX (Self Decrypting
Executables)
One of the important features in Private Encryptor™ is the ability to generate Self Decrypting Executables. A Self Decrypting Executable (or SDX, for short) allows you to turn encrypted files into executables, which allows for fast and easy decryption. An SDX can also be used to decrypt e-mails that have been encrypted with Private Encryptor’s e-mail encryption. The key thing to remember is that you
do not need to have Private Encryptor installed in order to decrypt an SDX or use it for e-mail decryption! An SDX is capable of decrypting itself. Simply double click on the file to run it, and it will decrypt itself after you enter the appropriate encryption key. This feature entirely replaces the Private Encryptor Free Decryptor™ that was available for earlier versions of Private Encryptor™.
