Versatility
The flexibility of Private Encryptor suits the individual needs of each user.  Not only can single files or whole directories be encrypted, but the user can also specify if the file name should be encrypted as well.  E-mail encryption is also provided, allowing the encryption of part or all of e-mail messages regardless of the email program used.

With Private Encryptor™, sending and receiving encrypted files has become easier then ever. The free Private Encryptor Decryption application has been replaced by Self Decrypting Executables (SDX files). SDX files open and ask for the encryption key. Once given, the file is decrypted. An SDX can even be made for an encrypted email and sent as an attachment.

My Passwords™ , a fun and handy mini-application to aid you in remembering all your website usernames and passwords. Copy them to the clipboard with one click only and they are ready to be pasted on any kind of website or application. All protected with the same strong encryption!

Private Encryptor includes a variety of different encryption algorithms that the user can select from.  Blowfish and DES are two extremely powerful algorithms.  Stealth Media is an algorithm developed specifically for large media files, images, and executables. In addition, the Installable Encryption Modules policy that Private Encryptor uses allows new encryption DLLs to be installed as they are developed without having to upgrade the program.
