Encrypted information is hidden within a picture file such as a .GIF or .JPG.
The encrypted file then appears to be nothing more than a simple picture that can be viewed in an image viewer, but it is really an encrypted file, and the information contained within it can be recovered by decrypting the file in the normal way.
